Deaths And Positive Cases Related To COVID-19 Continue To Go Up In Arizona

Positive cases of COVID-19, and deaths attributed to the virus, continue to go up in Arizona. However, the percentage of positive cases to those tested continues to fall. State health officials say there are 20 new deaths and 356 new cases of COVID-19 in the state Tuesday. The total number of deaths is 562, while the total number of cases is 11,736. The percentage of positive cases to those tested fell from 6.7 Monday to 6.5-percent Tuesday. There has been nearly 123-thousand diagnostic tests reported for a 7.5-percent positive and there have been over 36-thousand antibody tests for a 3.2-percent positive. Navajo County leads the way in Northern Arizona with 1,017 cases reported. There are 744 cases reported in Apache County, 694 in Coconino County and 221 in Yavapai County.
