Day Three of Yavapai Silent Witness’ “Catch 22” program focuses on finding a man wanted in connection with a single vehicle accident in Sedona, which led to the discovery of a slew of drugs in the driver’s vehicle. In the morning hours of February 24th of this year, authorities responded to the accident where the suspect Dylan Christopher Messer was involved in the accident. Before police arrived, Messer tried to leave the scene. When officers arrived, Messer showed signs of symptoms of being impaired by drugs. A K9 was deployed, which alerted police to the presence of drugs. The officer found over 100 fentanyl pills, heroin and meth in Messer’s backpack.
Messer was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, and
possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released and has failed to appear in court on his charges. If anyone has information on Messer’s whereabouts, contact Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at yavapaisw.com. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered if information leads to Messer’s arrest.
