Today is Day Eight of Yavapai Silent Witness’s “Catch 22” program. Today we focus on 23-year-old Davion Marquice Zacharie, who is wanted after he was arrested in November of 2016 on Interstate-40 near Ash Fork. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies say Zacharie was pulled over for speeding and when the deputy went to question him, an odor was detected coming from the vehicle. After a search, over 20 pounds of marijuana and a firearm was found inside. Zacharie was a convicted felon at the time of the stop and was prohibited from possessing a weapon. He also gave the deputy a false name and date of birth. Zacharie was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail, but was released on bond and has failed to appear for court. He has two felony warrants and his last known address was in San Antonio, Texas. He is a black male, five-foot-seven inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos on his arms that includes his name “Dana” on his right arm. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to his arrest.
