Day 8 Of “Catch 22” Profiles A Man Who Assaulted A Woman In Chino Valley In 2011

Today is Day 8 of Yavapai Silent Witness’ July “Catch 22” program. Today we focus on finding 34-year-old Kevin Kristopher Segaye. Back on August 1st, 2011, Segaye was at a Chino Valley home in the 16-hundred block of State Route 89, visiting a man. Later that evening, the man’s wife went into a bathroom and Segaye followed her. Segaye then assaulted the woman. Her husband asked him to leave multiple times and he refused and continued to assault her. It wasn’t until the man grabbed a knife and threatened Segaye that he finally left. Segaye was arrested and convicted of unlawful imprisonment, sexual abuse and criminal trespass. He was placed on probation, which he has since violated. Segaye is a Native American man, five-feet-eleven inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Chino Valley. A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest. If anyone has information on Segaye’s whereabouts, contact Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at yavapaisw.com.
