Day 8 Of “Catch 22” Focuses On A Fraud Suspect Out Of Prescott

Monday is Day Eight of Yavapai Silent Witness’s “Catch 22” program, where each day we will spotlight a person who is wanted in Yavapai County. Today we focus on 39-year-old Brenton White, who is wanted on multiple counts of fraud schemes, trafficking of stolen property, issuing bad checks and theft. On January 1st, 2016, White and another person bought a $400-dollar chainsaw from the True Value in Prescott. The next day he attempted to return the saw to the store. He was denied after it was discovered he only had three cents in his checking account from which he bought the saw the day before. He later sold the chainsaw for $100 at a pawn shop in Prescott. White has nine additional warrants in seven different states. He is a black male, five-feet-nine inches tall and weighs around 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes with a skull tattoo on his left upper arm. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering $500 for information leading to his arrest. If anyone knows his whereabouts, contact Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip at yavapaisw.com.
