Day 7 Of “Catch 22” Focuses On A Man Wanted For Drugs And Fleeing Police

Thursday is Day Seven of Yavapai Silent Witness’ “Catch 22” program. Today we focus on finding 35-year-old Anival Diaz-Moreno. In the early morning hours of April 16th, 2018 a woman was at a home in the seven-thousand block of Horseshoe Lane in Prescott Valley when she heard someone pounding on her sliding glass door. She realized it was Diaz-Moreno and was frightened as he threatened to kill her in the past. Diaz-Moreno trespassed by going through a window into a room where the victim’s child was sleeping. The child awoke screaming upon seeing him and tried to get away. Diaz-Moreno fled the scene before police arrived. Then three days later, Prescott Valley Police found Diaz-Moreno, but he fled the scene again and also fled from police in Wickenburg the same day. He is wanted on drug charges in Maricopa County and a probation violation in Yuma County. Moreno is a Hispanic male, five-feet-six inches tall and 190 pounds with black hair and green eyes. He also has multiple tattoos to include his name on his back and has scars on his abdomen and lower left leg. A $500 dollar reward is being offered by Yavapai Silent Witness for information leading to an arrest of Moreno. If anyone knows his whereabouts, call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at yavapaisw.com.
