Flagstaff voters have appeared to advance former Vice Mayor Becky Daggett and current Mayor Paul Deasy to November’s general election. As of 10 p.m., the unofficial results have Daggett winning the primary with 4,418 votes, or 51-percent of the vote, Deasy second with 2,342 votes, or 27-percent of the vote. Daniel Williamson is third with 1,955, or 22-percent of the vote. Daggett tells KAFF News she thinks her history in Flagstaff served her well in the primary. She says, “people have seen me in action and I think the people who voted for me know I can get stuff done.” In other races, Jeronimo Vasquez leads Tommy Hernandez in the race for District Two Supervisor for Coconino County, 67-percent to 33-percent. For Sedona Mayor, Scott Jablow leads Samaire Armstrong by just over 100 votes, 361-to-259. Incumbent Mayor Sandy Moriarty was last with 145 votes. Voter turnout in Coconino County was 24-percent of registered voters.
