Crude Oil Prices Took A Dip This Week, Which Caused A Slight Decline Of Prices At The Pump

Thanks to the price of crude oil coming down a bit, the average price of gas is seeing a little decline. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of regular gas in Arizona is down nearly six-cents a gallon this week to $5.33 a gallon. Diesel fuel is down nearly two-cents this week to $5.91 a gallon on average. Triple-A spokesman Aldo Vazquez says the reason for a drop from $122 to $108 a barrel is due to “fears of a global recession and an associated economic slowdown that could bring.” In Flagstaff, the average price of gas is down a cent this week to $5.14 a gallon. Diesel gas remains unchanged at $6.05 a gallon. In Prescott, the price of gas is down about three-cents a gallon this week to $5.02 a gallon.
