Gas prices are still seeing a rise in Arizona. Triple-A Arizona says the price of gas is up five-cents a gallon on average to $2.49 a gallon. In Flagstaff, gas is up a cent-and-a-half on average from last week to $2.56 a gallon. A year ago, the average price of gas in Flagstaff was $2.74 a gallon. In Prescott, gas prices are up a cent-and-a-half from last week to $2.51 a gallon. Last year at this time, gas in Prescott was $2.87 a gallon. Triple-A officials attribute the rise in prices at the pump to the continued rise in crude oil prices and the anticipation of additional COVID-19 vaccine releases around the country.
