Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles Closes Westbound I-40 Near Williams Wednesday

A crash involving multiple vehicles closed westbound Interstate-40 west of Williams Wednesday. ADOT says several commercial vehicles collided at around 5 p.m. at milepost 161. The crash caused drivers to turn around and go back to Williams to get around. The eastbound lanes were not affected. There were injuries involved, none of them were life-threatening. Adverse weather conditions are believed to have played a factor in the accident. The road finally reopened at around 5:15 Thursday morning.
