COVID-19 Testing Reaches New High In Arizona, Deaths And New Cases Down

Arizona hit a new high in reported COVID-19 tests Saturday, with deaths and reported cases down from Friday. State health officials say there are over nine-thousand new tests reported, with 128,940 total tests administered thus far. There are 15 new reported deaths for 532 total. Officials say there are 434 new cases reported Saturday for 10,960 cases total. There has been nearly 106-thousand diagnostic tests for an eight-percent positive and there have been over 23-thousand antibody tests for a 3.5-percent positive. Navajo County is close to 1,000 cases with 981 cases Saturday. There are 710 cases reported in Apache County, 661 in Coconino County and 178 in Yavapai County. Another round of COVID-19 blitz testing is taking place Saturday around the state.
