Positive cases of COVID-19 are near eight-thousand in Arizona as testing increases. State health officials say there is an increase of 314 cases reported Friday, to bring the total to 7,962. There were ten more deaths reported as well to raise the total number who have died from COVID-19 related cases to 330. This is the second straight day the state reported tests of over three-thousand. The number of people that have been tested in the state is 74,879. The amount of positive tests in Navajo County has risen to 741, there’s 496 in Coconino County, 478 in Apache County and 82 in Yavapai County. Remember: “testing blitzes” start statewide tomorrow and will last two additional Saturdays in hopes of increasing COVID-19 data in Arizona.
