COVID-19 Cases Up, But There’s Been No Rise Of Deaths On The Navajo Nation

Cases of COVID-19 are up again Sunday on the Navajo Nation, but the number of deaths stayed the same Sunday. Health officials say there were 79 new cases reported no new deaths. The total number of positive cases is 1,716 with 59 deaths overall. There have also been 8,037 negative test results. Most of the positive cases are in McKinley County, New Mexico with 427. In Arizona, Navajo County has 405 cases, Apache County has 391 cases and Coconino County has 243 cases. More testing is taking place on the reservation, so testing numbers are expected to go up, both positive and negative numbers.
