COVID-19 Cases, Deaths Are Up In Coconino County, But So Are Negative Test Results

Friday’s COVID-19 numbers for Coconino County show four more deaths and 14 new cases. Health officials say the total number of those who have died from COVID-19 related conditions is now 40. The total number of positive cases is 381 positive cases, with 1,575 negative tests, which is up 74 from Thursday. Of the positive cases, there are at least 58 cases in the Greater Flagstaff Area. There are 50 cases in non-tribal areas of Page and 266 in the tribal areas of Coconino County. Most of the positive cases of COVID-19 in the county came last week with 89, which is the highest week so far. This week there have been 51 positive cases of the virus in the county as of Friday. There is no information on those who have recovered from the coronavirus in the county.
