COVID-19 Cases, Deaths And Tests Go Up In Coconino County Thursday

The numbers of COVID-19 related cases and deaths continue to rise in Coconino County Thursday. Health officials say there is one additional death and 33 new cases of the coronavirus. There are now 49 deaths and 608 cases connected to COVID-19 in the county. Negative tests are up 184 to 2,579. The number of positive tests in the Greater Flagstaff Area has risen to at least 102, with 63 of the cases in an are of East Flagstaff to Wuptaki National Monument and 26 cases in West Flagstaff and Fort Valley. The number of positive cases in non-tribal areas of Page is 80 with 414 cases in tribal communities of the county. There is another testing blitz this Saturday in Flagstaff. There will be only one location as testing will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the County Health and Human Services building on King Street. You don’t need a doctor’s note to get tested at the blitz. Daily testing continues at Fort Tuthill from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and you need a doctor’s note to be tested there.
