There will be a drive-up COVID-19 testing surge in Yavapai County next week. County health officials say blitz sites will be set up in Cottonwood and Prescott Valley. The blitz will start next Saturday and Sunday in Cottonwood. Saturday’s event will run from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Mingus Union High School, while Sunday’s event at the high school will run 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, September 14th a testing site will be set up at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. The free test will involve self-administered nasal swabs in a drive-through stall.
