Cottonwood Police are looking for a suspect, or suspects, in a drive-by shooting incident early Thursday morning. A witness told police that just after midnight he heard four-to-six gunshots in the 12-hundred block of East Gila Street. Officers arrived on scene and found several shell casings, along with expended rounds in the exterior of a nearby home in the 13-hundred block of East Gila Street. Residents of the home were inside at the time when the shots were fired and luckily no one was hurt. No one in the home could provide information on any suspects involved in the crime. Cottonwood Police are asking the public for help and information regarding the investigation of the incident. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
