Cottonwood Man Arrested For Laying Naked In A Busy Intersection Wednesday

A man was arrested in Cottonwood, after he was found naked and lying in the intersection of State Route 260 and Cove Parkway Wednesday. Calls to police said a naked man, wearing a backpack, was there throwing flowers at vehicles. Officers arrived at the scene at around 12:30 p.m. and found 34-year-old Jayme Johnson from Cottonwood, laying in the intersection naked with just his shoes on. When asked what he was doing, he told officers he was sunbathing at a beach and listening to a Katy Perry song. He was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Detention Center on two counts of indecent exposure. One count was a felony because a juvenile saw him naked during this time. Luckily Johnson wasn’t hit by a vehicle during the incident.
