A Cottonwood man was arrest recently in connection with the sales of fentanyl-laced pills and having guns after being prohibited to do so. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say PANT detectives went to a home in the 45-hundred block of East Silver Leaf Trial in Cottonwood back on November 11th. Just before 8 p.m. a deputy pulled over a maroon Toyota 4 Runner driven by 25-year-old Adrian Campos. A search found about 18 fentanyl pills on his person. Detectives then found over 100 pills at his home, along with a black AR 15-style rifle and a black .45 caliber handgun. An additional .22 rifle was found in the same area with hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Detectives also found a 9mm handgun under the front seat of the 4 Runner and $400 in case. Campos is a convicted felon, and thus is not allowed to possess firearms. Campos admitted to the ongoing sale of fentanyl pills in the Cottonwood area. He was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on drug and weapons charges. Campos is in custody on $15-thousand bond.
