Cottonwood Man Arrested On Several Felony Charges

A Cottonwood man was arrested recently on several felony charges in connection with an altercation with his ex-girlfriend. Cottonwood Police say the ex-girlfriend of 36-year-old Noel Jerome Sepulveda contacted them after he pulled up alongside her in the one-thousand block of East Mingus Avenue and tried to force her inside the vehicle. The altercation took place back on February 24th at around 11 a.m. In the struggle, her head and fingers were slammed against the door frame. Sepulveda couldn’t get her in the vehicle, but he did take her purse and drove off. Police located Sepulveda nearby and took him into custody. K9 “Kratos” searched the blue 2013 Audi and indicated drugs may be inside. A search turned up an over eight-gram rock of meth. Sepulveda was arrested and booked on kidnapping, robbery, drug possession and drug paraphernalia. He was also booked for a felony warrant out of Maricopa County.
