Congressman O’Halleran Touts His Work For Rural Arizona As A Reason He Should Return To Washington In November

We wrap up our Congressional candidate breakdown with Congressman Tom O’Halleran, who is running for re-election for a fourth term in Washington DC.  However, in this election the landscape has changed.  The district is now Congressional District 2 which now brings in Yavapai County, which includes Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley.  He says he welcomes the conversations with people in Yavapai County, where he represented the area in the state legislature in the past.  He’s claims many accomplishments he’s made for the district in Northern Arizona while he’s been in Congress.  O’Halleran says he has worked on bringing broadband to the area, and has worked on the infrastructure bill along with getting approved, “the money we’ve been able to bring to the Flagstaff area, to address the issues of thinning on the forest and the San Francisco Peaks.”  He adds, he has worked to bring attention to issues with Bill Williams Mountain in Williams and in the Prescott area and across the district.”  O’Halleran adds, “I have a long history dealing with rural issues and I want to continue to do that.”  The Congressman also says he wants to try and bring both parties back to civility and work together to make the country better.  He says, “I just don’t understand how we can’t find common ground.”  O’Halleran adds, “you have to be able to work with people and these are important issues for our children’s future.”  The Congressman is taking on Eli Crane, who won the Republican primary in the general election, which will take place November 8th.
