Colder, Wetter Weather In Store For Northern Arizona Starting Tuesday Night

Weather around Northern Arizona has been pleasant with high’s above normal for the last several weeks, but that’s about to change. The National Weather Service says two low pressure systems are set to combine across Arizona. One system is coming in from the south and is warmer, so it will bring mostly rain starting Tuesday night. The second storm will swing in from the north and bring colder air with it overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Forecasters say we could see snow down to about 7,000-feet. Forecasters are calling for one-to-three inches of snow in Flagstaff Wednesday night with snow showers continuing through Friday. Additional accumulations are possible. The storm will clear out by the weekend and leaving cooler air behind. Expect high’s in the 40s in Flagstaff over the weekend.
