Coconino Panthers Girls Basketball Coach Martin Reyes Resigns

Coconino High School girls basketball coach Martin Reyes has resigned as the school’s coach. Reyes made the decision official after Coconino’s 63-28 loss to Flagstaff in the first round of the 4A Girls State Basketball Tournament. Reyes tweeted “I just want to say how proud I am of my Lady Panthers. I know you will move forward and do great things.” He adds: “it has been a great five years, I know I will miss it.” There’s no word on who will replace Reyes at Coconino. The Panthers finished with a 14-5 record overall and 10-2 in the Grand Canyon Region this season.
