Both the Coconino Panthers and the Flagstaff Eagles girls basketball teams saw their season come to an end Friday night in the 4A quarterfinals. The ninth-seeded Coconino Panthers traveled to Chandler to battle top-seeded Seton Catholic. Coconino could never get in a rhythm and Seton turned turnovers into points as they beat the Panthers, 64-31. Wynter Huskie and Kiana Manuelito each scored eight points to lead Coconino. Amanda Barcello scored 21 points and went over the one-thousand point mark in her career in the win. Coconino finishes the season with a 12-4 record. Sixth-seeded Flagstaff battle with third-seeded Sahuaro in Tucson. The game was close throughout, but it was the Cougars that beat the Eagles, 62-56. Flagstaff finishes their season at 16-3.
