Coconino County To Reopen Willard Springs Transfer Station To Green Waste Only

Coconino County will reopen the Willard Springs Transfer Station for the new season on Friday, April 2nd for green waste-only disposal to support residents’ efforts to clean up their properties before wildfire season starts. The station won’t accept bulk waste due to the COVID-19 handling and the CDC and local distancing protocols. The Cinder Lake Landfill is accepting household and bulk waste. The transfer station is located about 14 miles south of Flagstaff, just west of Interstate-17 along the Willard Springs Road exit. It will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting April 2nd and running through Saturday October 30th.
