Coconino County Tests 287 People During Saturday’s Testing Blitz

Coconino County health officials collected 287 specimens during the first Saturday of the Arizona Testing Blitz for COVID-19. Officials say 138 were collected at the county Health and Human Services location on King Street and 149 were collected at Fort Tuthill County Park. Specimens were immediately sent to laboratories for testing. Those who were tested will be notified this week of results by Coconino County Health and Human Services team members. COVID-19 testing is also available this week for anyone who has a doctor’s order to be tested, or exhibits the symptoms of COVID-19. Testing will take place at Fort Tuthill County Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be another testing blitz next Saturday. Times and places will be announced next week.
