Surge testing for COVID-19 is being expanded in Coconino County and at NAU. Coconino County Health and Human Services officials say surge testing at Fort Tuthill will remain in place through September 4th from noon until 8 p.m. The surge testing site in Williams at the Motel 6 will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon until 8 p.m. The surge testing site at the NAU Fieldhouse will run daily until August 30th from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. This location is open not only for NAU students, but for all Coconino County residents. Free parking is available on the upper levels of the San Francisco Parking Garage. Testing is self-administered and it is free to anyone who wants a test. People seeking a test at a surge site are asked to register in advance to expedite the testing process. To register log onto doineedacovid19test.com.
