Coconino County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a California man believed to be in the Jacob Lake area, near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Sixty-year-old Jose Alvarado was reported missing in Yuba City, California in January of 2021 and was thought to be traveling through Arizona, making stops in Kingman, Williams, and Tuba City. His white Kia was found in the forest north of Jacob Lake Tuesday, but he was no where to be found. Alvarado is a Hispanic man, about five-foot-ten inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He has grey hair, brown eyes, and is possibly wearing black pants and a white shirt.
