Coconino County Sheriff’s officials continue to look for an 18-year-old sexual assault suspect. Officials say they have been looking for Jason Gonnie since Thursday afternoon at around 1:16 p.m. The suspect was at a home in Kachina Village in the area of Chof Trail. Gonnie contacted the victim Wednesday night and remained at the house until Thursday, when he pulled out a weapon and refused to allow the victim and two kids leave. It was then when Gonnie reportedly sexually assaulted the victim. The victim and the kids fled the home to another home nearby where they called police. When law enforcement arrived at the scene and eventually searched the home and the area, Gonnie had left. He is a Native American male, standing five-feet-nine inches tall with a slim build, black hair and black eyes. He is wanted for sexual assault, kidnapping and burglary. If anyone has seen Gonnie, or know where he is, call 911 or the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office.
