The Coconino County Health and Human Services Department has released its weekly COVID-19 report. As of Wednesday, there have been 1,239 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 649 recoveries and 83 deaths. Fifty-two percent of positive cases have recovered from the virus in the county so far with data still to be determined. Currently the county has seen a decline in positive cases in four of the last five weeks, with three more cases last week than the week before. Flagstaff has had 374 cases out of 6,017 tested, which is a six-percent positive rate. Of the 83 deaths, 47 have come in the 65-and-older age group and nearly 73-percent were Native American.
