There’s some new information from the Coconino County Health and Human Services Department in regards to COVID-19. The total number of those who have died from COVID-19 related conditions is up one to 36. There are 20 new cases, raising the total to 367 positive cases, with 1,501 negative tests, which is up 42 from Wednesday. Of the positive cases, there are at least 56 cases in the Greater Flagstaff Area. There are 47 cases in non-tribal areas of Page and 257 in the tribal areas of Coconino County. Of the positive cases, 66-percent have been Native Americans. Most of the positive cases of COVID-19 in the county came last week with 89, which is the highest week so far. This week there have been 37 positive cases of the virus in the county as of Thursday. There is no information on those who have recovered from the coronavirus in the county.
