Coconino County Modifies Court Schedules And Procedures And Postpones Trials

Coconino County is modifying court operations to protect the public, court staff and the judiciary due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All criminal and civil jury trials have been postponed until after April 17th. The Court will remain open, but is encouraging individuals to delay any non-essential matters with the court. The Superior Court will be temporarily accepting motions to continue cases via email at coconinot36@courts.az.gov. People who need to pay a fine should mail the payment, pay online at www.azcourtpay.com or in person at PayNearMe locations. For previously scheduled hearings, people are asked to consult with their attorney. If someone is sick and has an upcoming court proceeding, they need to contact the assigned court to request. For any questions, call the Coconino County Clerk of the Superior Court’s Office at (928) 679-7600.
