Coconino County Heads Into Another Blitz Saturday With New Cases And Deaths From COVID-19

Coconino County is heading into another blitz Saturday with nearly 800 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Friday. Health officials say there are three new deaths and 24 new cases in the county, to raise the totals to 62 deaths and 789 total cases. There are 307 new negative tests to raise that number to nearly 44-hundred. The number of positive tests in the Greater Flagstaff Area rose at least 14 cases to 168, with 92 of the cases in areas of East Flagstaff north and there’s 59 cases in West Flagstaff and Fort Valley. The number of positive cases in tribal communities of the county is 496. The total percent positive cases to those who have been tested in Coconino County is 15-percent. Saturday is another testing blitz in the county. Once again you can get tested without a doctor’s order at the county Health and Human Services Building on King Street from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
