Coconino County is releasing information on how election night will play out this year. Due to many write-in votes, it will take longer to process ballots that come in on Election Day. The county election’s office has already started to count early ballots. As of Wednesday, over 41-percent, or over 27-thousand, early ballots have been returned. The county election’s office is expecting voter turnout to be between 70-and-85-percent, with between 25-and-35-percent voting on Election Day. The first ballot dump of early voting ballots already counted will happen at 8 p.m. Election Day, then will be updated through the night. We will have a KAFF News Election Special Tuesday from 7:30 until 9 p.m. on The Legend 93.5/AM 930.
