Coconino County Authorities Looking For A Man Who Fled A Traffic Stop Friday

Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputies are still looking for a man who fled on foot from a DPS traffic stop on I-40 in the area of Cosnino Road Friday. The man was last seen running south of the I-40 in the National Forest area near Wapiti and Cosnino Road. Deputies were able to track the man south, several miles into the forest. The suspect is believed to be far away from any neighborhoods or residences. The man is described as a Hispanic male between 30-40 years old with a shaved head. He was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans and had a letter “C” on his belt. If you have any information or see a person matching that description, call 911.
