Coconino County Announces The New Health And Human Services Department

Coconino County announced Monday they will merge three departments into one. The Public Health Services District, Community Services and the Career Center will all become the Health and Human Services Department. County Supervisor Liz Archuleta said Monday “we’re very confident that combining these services into one department will improve access to these vital services.” The county will hire a director to oversee the department. The selection process is expected to be completed this fall. The department’s home will be located at 2625 North King Street in Flagstaff, with a northern region office established in Page. The Health and Human Services Department will integrate the name, logo and branding alignment on July 1st.
