Coconino County Announces First Case Of The Flu This Season

Coconino County health officials say the first case of the flu has been recorded in the county this season. Officials say the person has recovered from the illness. Public health officials are reminding the public to get a flu shot soon. It’s strongly recommended that people six-months old and over get a shot every year. Flu shots are available Monday through Friday at the Health and Human Services Building at 2625 N. King Street in Flagstaff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are also other clinics, stores and doctor’s offices that have the shot available as well. Flu symptoms include fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, congestion, etc. For more information, contact the Health and Human Services office or log onto their website.
