State health officials are gearing up for the first of three straight Saturdays of test “blitzing” for COVID-19 across the state. Two locations will be set up in Flagstaff for testing. One location will be at Fort Tuthill County Park, where drive-up testing has taken place since the beginning of the pandemic. The second location will be set up at the Coconino County Health and Human Services building on King Street. Anyone who has symptoms, or has come in contact with someone who is, or was, COVID-19 positive can be tested without a doctor’s notice. Testing will free and it will be first come, first served while testing supplies last. Health officials say there’s enough testing supplies to test 300 at each site. The blitz locations will not be doing antibody testing. To pre-register log onto coconino.az.gov/covid19.
