The 1964 Clint Eastwood classic “A Fistful Of Dollars” has been dubbed into Navajo. The western is the third major film available in Dine. “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope,” the original Star Wars, was released in 2013, and “Finding Nemo” came out in 2016. The classic western was supposed to have been released last year, but the COVID-19 pandemic pushed it back. A premiere for the cast and crew is scheduled for November 19th at a movie theater in Window Rock. The film was dubbed into Navajo after numerous requests from tribal elders. The movie features an all-Navajo cast of voice actors, including Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
