Classes at all FUSD schools will resume on Monday after a cyber security threat caused officials to cancel classes last week. Officials say the threat impacted the ability of FUSD schools to operate normally, so they called off classes last Thursday and Friday. The attack was from “ransomware,” which is a powerful malware program. District technicians and others worked all weekend to update all district computers, teacher laptops and other devices, so students can return to classes on Monday. Officials say no personally identifiable information was released during the incident.
