City Of Prescott Parks, Trails And Sports Facilities Remain Open

Even though the Prescott National Forest is closed, the City of Prescott parks, trails and sports facilities remain open through the holiday weekend. With the exception of some campsites at Watson Lake, all city facilities are day-use only. If you are out and about, remember Yavapai County is in Stage Two fire restrictions, which means a ban on fires, smoking only in a building or enclosed vehicle, no welsing, or operating with an open flame, only operate a chainsaw between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. and firing a firearm is prohibited.
