City Of Flagstaff Now Accepting Council Member Applications

The City of Flagstaff is now taking applications from qualified residents who are interested in a position on City Council. A seat vacancy has been created due to Becky Daggett resigning to run for mayor. Qualified individuals interested in running for City Council must be a registered voter in Flagstaff, be a Flagstaff resident for at least one year, and can’t currently hold other public office positions. Interested candidates are required to submit an application, letter of interest, and a resume. The application, along with more information, can be found by clicking here.  Applications and other documents must be completed and sent by April 20th at 5 p.m. to the City Clerk by email at Stacy.Saltzburg@FlagstaffAZ.gov. The City of Flagstaff will appoint the next council member on or before May 5th. The term will end on December 20th.
