The City of Flagstaff is inviting the public to volunteer for a cleanup day on the Museum Fire burn scar Saturday, June 18th. Volunteers will be helping disabled or elderly people repair their sandbag mitigation. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Coconino Health and Human Services office at 2625 North King Street. There are two shifts to pick from: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers are asked to wear sturdy shoes, pants, sunscreen, work gloves, and bring water. Food will be provided to those who volunteer. To request volunteer assistance, call (928)-213-2102 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
