The City of Flagstaff has closed commission and city council meetings to the public until further notice. Meetings will still be held and will be streamed online on the city’s website. The decision was made due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mayor Coral Evans said in a statement the decision was made “to assist with promoting social distance measures as instructed by the CDC.’ She adds: “the public is welcome to watch us streaming live from our website and submit their public comments via email.” There’s no word on when meetings will be reopened to the public.
