City Of Flagstaff Begins Treecycling Service For Your Real Christmas Tree Through January

The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office and Solid Waste Section are providing a treecycling service during the month of January. Real Christmas trees will be chipped and used in the city’s parks and beautification projects in the new year. There will be a curbside pickup service January 2nd through the 6th. The city asks to please put your tree on the curb by 6 a.m. Monday, and make sure all of the lights, tinsel and ornaments are removed beforehand. There will also be drop off locations from January 2nd through January 23rd at three locations: Thorpe Park at 419 North Mogollon Street, University Highlands Park at 3888 South Jewel Drive and at the Jay Lively Activity Center at 1650 North Turquoise Drive.
