Chino Valley Woman Arrested After Causing Multiple Accidents And Having A BAC More Than Five Times The Legal Limit

A Chino Valley woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon for causing multiple accidents and having a blood alcohol concentration of slightly more than five-times the legal limit. Police were notified about a hit-and-run accident in the area of Road 1 West and Road 1 North at around 1:54 p.m. While en route to the first incident, they were informed another vehicle was hit nearby. Officers were notified the vehicle wanted in connection with both accidents, ran over a street sign in the Safeway parking lot in the 13-hundred block of Stratford Place. Officers arrived and made contact with 37-year-old Linda Rodkey of Chino Valley. She was in the driver seat of a white Chevy SUV with the keys in the ignition. She admitted to police she hit a vehicle. Rodkey refused a field sobriety test and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. She did submit to a breath test that measured a blood alcohol concentration of .401. Rodkey has been booked on charges of DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08, super extreme DUI BAC over .20, three counts of criminal damage and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident involving damage to a vehicle. Luckily no one was injured in the accidents.
