Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Areas Above 65-Hundred Feet, Including Flagstaff Through Friday Afternoon

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas above 65-hundred feet in Northern Arizona through 5 p.m. Friday. The advisory includes Flagstaff, Doney Park, Williams and Happy Jack. Forecasters say expect four-to-eight inches of snow and wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour in some areas during the advisory time. Flagstaff is expecting four-to-six inches of snow, Williams three-to-five inches and Doney Park two inches. If you have to travel during this time, there could be patches of significantly reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions. Take your time and use caution if you have to travel the next 24 hours or so.
