The search for a man, who was involved in a domestic dispute and later allegedly fired on Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies, is over as he was arrested in Valle. Sheriff’s officials tell KAFF News 51-year-old Aaron Rose was caught in a backyard of a residence in Valle by the homeowner. The owner held Rose at gunpoint until authorities arrived and placed him under arrest. Deputies responded to a domestic violence incident in Valle that involved a weapon that took place at around 6:51 Thursday morning. When they arrived they found the victim had been assaulted throughout Wednesday evening. After DPS arrived on the scene, the victim said the suspect had fled and was possibly armed. While searching and securing an associated residence, deputies were fired upon from a ridge line by an unknown person. Detectives pulled back and set up a perimeter. Rose was taken into custody at around 10 p.m. No deputies were injured in the incident. He has been booked into the Coconino County Sheriff’s Detention Facility in Flagstaff for aggravated assault and burglary charges.
