Coconino County Sheriff’s detectives continue to work on identifying stolen property recovered in search warrants last week in the Williams area. Detectives executed two search warrants, that stemmed from around 20-to-25 burglaries reported in the Red Lake and Valle neighborhoods north of Williams between May and November of this year. During the searches, detectives recovered around 120 items that had been reported stolen. Deputies arrested 27-year-old Christopher Tow of Williams and 36-year-old Clyde Dunwoody of Red Lake. They were booked into the Coconino County Jail on second-degree burglary, theft, trafficking in stolen property and first-degree criminal trespass. The case is active and under investigation, which may result in additional charges.
