With very few parades this year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, Coconino Community College has an alternative this year. They are presenting the Virtual Fourth of July Parade. Nearly 60 shoeboxes are decorated by numerous families and organizations around Flagstaff to help celebrate the Fourth of July in a little different way. CCC President Colleen Smith says “our communities are really struggling right now and it seemed like a good idea to celebrate or communities and our nation.” The parade will feature KAFF News’ Dave Zorn and Flagstaff Mayor Coral Evans hosting the event. It will debut on YouTube Saturday morning at 10 a.m. So tune in and share it with everyone.
